God bless Charles Barkley

In a recent CNN interview Charles Barkley stated that if white people don't vote for Senator Obama he can't win.

Talk about profound. He then said that when we get into that voting booth the white man will not be able to trust the black man to vote for him. Whoa. I guess it doesn't come down to issues, qualifications, experience, flip-flopping or anything else.

Well, geez, I guess when you put it that way I have to vote for the black man!

Now that is the way to win an election!

Elgarf(Anon #1 here) - I think McCain picked a good VP running mate with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. What say you? She and her husband have 5 children, the latest born with Down syndrome. She has been governor of her state since December 2006.
The woman is a maverick much like McCain and only 44 years old. She was an outstanding High School athlete and from early reports, takes no prisoners. Her oldest child is in the Army and is scheduled to be sent to Iraq September 11.
I do like Mitt Romney but I know so many people do not care for him though he is also a very bright, experienced person. Now it will start to get really interesting. We shall see how the Drive-By media and the Obama camp attacks her. Number one they will say she lacks experience, but she in fact has more experience than Obama who has a total of 144 days in the Senate.
Short AP story here

Yes, I am obviously a racist because I do not enter the booth to pull the lever for the black man. Notice I say "the" black man and not "a" black man. This is because I am not voting for THIS black man - if there was A black man running I believed in, no problem.

I think it's pretty courageous of me to vote against Obama despite pressure like this.

Anonymous: I think this is truly a beautiful day to be an American! The irony is so goddamn thick you need waders to trudge through it! The democratic establishment REFUSED to nominate a woman so the republicans took the initiative to do just that. It kinda' nullifies that "first black president" gimmick doesn't it? Get this, I just heard the Obama campaign released a statement saying Sarah Palin doesn't have the experience needed to be vice-president! Who do these people think they are?!

Chief: You know my first impulse was to be pissed off, and then rant in this post. As I thought about it I realized that the liberals need more Charles Barkleys out there calling hard-working Americans who disagree with them racists. It's just like W saying if you don't vote for me you are unpatriotic. Tell me I can't do something and I will go to all extremes to prove you wrong. I think that "racism" bullshit is going to back-fire and I hope it is soon.
